It is a great pleasure to welcome participants to the 4^th Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice (JoPPP) 2025 Conference, Thailand (The 4^th JoPPP-Thailand 2025).

Research on pharmaceutical policy and practice addresses critical issues related to medicine regulation, access to medications, optimization, utilization, and overall medicine use. It also explores important questions, such as how and why individuals access pharmacy services, the costs associated with pharmaceutical care, and the outcomes for patients who utilize these services.

Conducting thorough research in pharmaceutical policy can yield significant benefits for both medicine utilization and resource allocation. Publishing this research in high-impact venues is essential for translating findings into practical policy benefits.

The Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice (JoPPP) fulfils this need, and materials from the conference will be published in a special supplement of the journal.

The conference aims to highlight the latest evidence-based research in pharmaceutical policy, both locally and globally. It will also cover updates on medicine access, utilization, optimization, and ongoing research in pharmaceutical policy. Building on the success of previous conferences, we hope this event will foster global and regional networks related to clinical pharmacy, professional practice, and the social, behavioural, and administrative aspects of pharmacy.

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 4^th Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice (JoPPP) 2025 Conference, Thailand. The 4^th JoPPP-Thailand 2025 is hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mahasarakham University, in collaboration with Rangsit University, Thammasat University, and JoPPP as co-hosts. The theme of this year’s conference, “Pharmacy Policy & Practice Strategies: Shaping the Future of Healthcare,” reflects the dynamic and evolving nature of our field. Together, we aim to explore innovative approaches to address the pressing challenges of modern healthcare while envisioning a future where pharmaceutical practices drive equitable and efficient healthcare systems worldwide.

We are particularly thrilled to feature three plenary lecture sections that highlight pivotal aspects of the future of pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. These include:
